Richard’s classical excellence, marked by first-prize victories across the International Music Competition in Vienna, the National Artist Competition, the Manhattan International Music Competition, a three-time win at the New York International Music Concours, and top honors at Carnegie Hall’s Violin Rondo Festival and the New York Artists International Competition, has earned him official honors including the New York State Senate Award for Violin, a Citation for Artistic Value, and a congressional letter of recognition from U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng. Expanding his reach beyond the strings, Richard joined the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus in 2021, studying under MET composer Anthony Piccolo and performing in over 70 world-class productions, including principal turns as the First Boy in The Magic Flute, alongside roles in La Bohème and Tosca, while capturing national media coverage from The New York Times, The Washington Post, and PBS News for his standout performance in the MET's "Walk with Amal" showcase at JFK Airport. A certified six-instrument threat proficient in violin, piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, and drums, he seamlessly integrates his "play and sing" mastery into self-taught composition and hip-hop dance performance, making him an unstoppable force in the studio.
